Direct Care Positions are needed in our Residential Programs located in Wheeling and McMechen, to assist, teach, and monitor individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities on a day-to-day basis with activities of daily living, such as making beds, cooking, cleaning, personal hygiene, bathing, dressing, feeding, toileting, recreation, community involvement, socialization, health maintenance, etc. Direct Care Staff provide protective oversight by detecting and reacting to potential emergencies, such as fire, injuries, health emergencies, and behavioral crisis described in the individual’s Individual Program Plan. Full time and part time positions are available, as well as day, afternoon, and midnight shifts. Candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED, and a current driver’s license. EOE

The Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU) Technician position involves facilitation of supportive group sessions, completion of individualized progress notes, and monitoring of clients for safety. Other tasks include answering CSU telephone calls and facilitating communication between clients and other members of the professional treatment team. Successful applicants will be energetic and determined to provide high quality care in a fast-paced environment. Day, afternoon, and midnight shifts are available. Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Special Education, or other Human Service field.

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) works as part of a clinical team caring for people with substance use disorders and/or mental health needs, and individuals with Intellectual or Developmental Disabilities. The candidate must be a graduate from an accredited nursing program and possess a valid nursing license in the State of West Virginia. The duties for this position include, but are not limited to administering medications (including controlled substances), participating in treatment plan meetings, ensuring all medication orders are properly noted, and ensuring all documentation is updated to reflect the most accurate medical needs of the patient. Candidate must possess a passion for excellence and an interest in providing cost effective, quality care within a performance-based culture. Full-time, shift work including afternoon and weekend positions available in New Martinsville, WV.

The applicant must have a passion for excellence and an interest in providing cost effective, quality care within a performance-based culture.
