Residential Direct Care Staff assist, teach, and monitor individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities on a day-to-day basis with activities of daily living, such as making beds, cooking, cleaning, personal hygiene, bathing, dressing, feeding, toileting, recreation, community involvement, socialization, health maintenance, etc. Direct Care Staff provide protective oversight by detecting and reacting to potential emergencies, such as fire, injuries, health emergencies, and behavioral crisis described in the individual’s Individual Program Plan. Full time and part time positions are available, as well as day, afternoon, and midnight shifts. Candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED, and a current driver’s license.
